WELCOME LETTER

HELLO & WELCOME FROM OWNER, MELISSA MCGHEE.

We are excited to bring you Central Ohio’s newest dance studio! My name is Melissa McGhee, founder and owner of the studio. I am originally from Toledo, Ohio, but have lived in the Columbus area for over fifteen years and have grown to love it and call it home!

Growing up, I had the privilege of dancing at a number of incredible dance studios and learning from distinguished faculty. As with many dancers, the studio was my home away from home, and more importantly, many of my teammates and teachers became family to me. The studio was the place where I learned an immense amount about myself and some important life lessons: how to work hard, how to be disciplined, how to fail, how to succeed and many more. Reflecting on my experience, I realized how formative those years spent in the dance studio were in shaping me into who I am today.

It was with a strong desire to offer young dancers the same experience I had growing up combined with my passion for creating teams and a sense of community, that Lineage Dance Co. was created! We hope you join our Lineage Dance Co. Family … and can’t wait to get started on our third season!
