FAQs
What is the difference between the Mini-Sessions and Studio Classes?
Mini sessions are designed to offer students an introduction to dance and offer a short (4-8 week) seasonal opportunity! Some students may choose to add a mini-session of another genre before they enroll for the full academic term. Studio classes are ongoing through the entire academic calendar and culminate in the end of year studio show!
Does my dancer have to have experience before signing up for a mini session or studio classes?
No! Our staff is eager and excited to introduce dance to your child!
Are dancers above the age of 14 eligible for studio classes?
Our studio classes are for dancers ages 14 and under for the 2025-2026 season. As the studio grows, the age range will expand each year as well; for example, classes for the 2026-2027 Studio Season will be offered for dancers ages 15 and under!
What is the difference between The Collective Program and other Studio Classes offered annually?
The main difference between The Collective Program and traditional studio classes is the commitment level. Studio classes have no additional commitment outside of the weekly classes and the end of the year studio show.
How do I know when my child is ready for dance?
Typically, 2.5 is the youngest age that our mini sessions or studio classes would be a good fit. Dancers should be toilet trained and able to participate in class away from their parent or guardian for the duration of the session.
What age does my dancer need to be for a private lesson?
Dancers ages 5-18 are eligible for private lessons from our staff!
